Mr. Garfoli and Mr. Sturm have a combined 45 years of professional experience, with most of it being performed in the Shenango and Mahoning Valleys.
IAG currently serves as the retained engineer for multiple municipalities and authorities in Mercer and Crawford County, Pennsylvania. We are the licensed Wastewater System Operator of Record for two municipal clients in Mercer County, Pennsylvania and provide general engineering services for others in both Pennsylvania and Ohio. We strive to become an integral part of our clients’ operations by being responsive to their needs, providing technical reviews and recommendations, and providing an exceptionally high level of service.
Ian A. Garfoli, P.E.
PRINCIPAL ENGINEER
Ian has 22 years of experience as a Project Manager and Project Engineer from the firms headquarters in Hermitage, PA. Ian has worked as an engineer in both the public and private sector and intimately understands municipal needs. He has managed a variety of municipal capital projects including transportation, stormwater, potable water, wastewater, recreation and other public works projects totaling over $100 million in construction dollars. He has assisted municipalities and authorities with public works project delivery from conceptualization through construction using multiple funding sources, and has assisted to finance projects with bond issues, state financing loans and grants, and private funding assessments. Ian currently serves as the Engineer of Record to several municipalities and authorities in Mercer County and Crawford County, Pennsylvania.

PROJECT MANAGER & DESIGNER
Steve has 24 years of experience as a project designer providing support services for the planning & design for civil, water & wastewater, stormwater, roadway & building construction fields.Steve is responsible for assisting with projects during the planning, design, layout & construction phases. Steve’s specialty is working on water pollution control & water treatment plants as well as municipal & civil type projects. Steve creates construction drawing plan sets by utilizing a variety of advanced intelligent 3DCAD software & by coordinating closely with the project engineers, surveyors & equipment vendors to satisfy a cost-effective design-build solution that will meet our client’s needs.
