The projects are funded with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the City of Hermitage entitlement on an annual basis. The project location and scope varies from year to year, but the betterment projects generally consist of storm sewer improvements, and milling and paving of roadways in mature residential neighborhoods. Other minor improvements occur as necessary, such as adjustments to manholes and valve boxes, adjustment of driveway aprons, and backing up edges of pavement with millings or topsoil. IAG provides Design Phase Services for the projects, distributes plans and specifications on behalf of the owner during the Bid Phase Services, and provides Construction Administration Services through the closeout of the construction contracts.
